Every once in a while, we get feedback, tips and
thoughtful suggestions from artists and users of Earth Henna Body Painting
kits. We would like to share some of the ones we thought could be helpful:
1. Leave the paste on the skin for a minimum of six hours; the longer the
better for best results.
2. For better results, after mixing the paste, wait two hours before
using.
3. Try making thicker lines if you want the design to really show up!
4. If you would prefer a more fluid paste, it is okay to add 5-6 drops of
water into the bottle.
Just shake and use. You could also stop just short of filling the bottle
completely, test the
consistency to see if it is to your liking, and if needed, add drops of
water and continue filling.
5. Some people report getting even darker color when they dab the dried
henna paste
once or twice with a bit of eucalyptus oil on a cotton ball.
6. Apply Vaseline on your design before showering, swimming or getting
wet.
This will help prolong the life of the design.
7. If you do get henna in the eye area, simply flush with water.
What makes the Earth Henna® Body Painting Kit the best kit on the market?

Typically, henna loses its dyeing properties after 3 days. Using old henna results in very light color on the skin; or colors that last only 2 to 3 days. With Earth Henna® Body Painting Kit, it's all pre-measured. Just pour the bottle containing the Earth Henna® solution into the bag of henna powder and your henna paste is ready to use. It's that easy!
No lemon/sugar applications are necessary.
Typically, once the design is created and the henna paste has dried on the skin, it must be set with a lemon/sugar solution. A cotton ball dipped in lemon/sugar mix is used to dab the design repeatedly throughout the day. This procedure assures that proper results will be obtained. With Earth Henna®, no lemon/sugar applications are necessary. Their formula is all-inclusive. Just apply it; let it dry, wait six hours before removal of paste then watch as your design turns from orange to the traditional deep reddish brown color over the next 48 hours.
Re-Usable Stencils!
To use the stencils, all that is needed is to apply eucalyptus oil to the skin; cut the desired stencil off the sheet; press it face down onto the skin and wait 10 seconds. This will transfer an outline of the design; use applicator bottle to trace over the design with henna. The black outline disappears leaving henna design on skin. Each stencil can be re-used five times!
