Shipping & Returns

Freight:
Most orders, depending on weight, are shipped USPS Priority Mail with Insurance and Delivery Confirmation.   Jasper's Secret Garden also ships UPS Ground and FedEx Ground. Our cart cannot calculate Priority Mail Flat Rate Box charges, or determine if your order can fit in one.  However, we will use this service if UPS or FedEx Ground came in too high.  The current charge for an insured Priority Mail Flat Rate Box with Delivery Confirmation is $13.30 for shipments valued up to $50 and $13.75 for those with a value up to $100. We offer free shipping on orders over $100.00!  Jasper's Secret Garden uses Real-Time shipping quotes from the individual shippers we use.  We are unable to accept international orders at this time.

We do not ship COD or UPS/FedEx collect. We strive to keep your shipping charges as low as possible. Our shopping cart has been set up to accurately determine your shipping charges using real-time shipping rates provided by USPS Priority Mail, UPS and FedEx. In the event your order cannot fit in one box, shipping charges will be recalculated and applied to your invoice, and your approval confirmed prior to charging your account for additional payment.

We offer FREE shipping on all orders over $100.00!! Our way of saying "Thank You!" for your patronage!!  We will ship via UPS Ground, FedEx Ground, USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate or USPS Priority Mail - depending on the weight of your package. Whichever way it's shipped, we will email you the tracking number!

As of January 1st, 2003, candle orders will be shipped via UPS Ground or FedEx Ground.  If we can fit your candle order in a USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate box without compromising your candles, we will - only if it will save you money on shipping!

Note: If incorrect address information is provided, there will be an additional $10.00 Address Correction Fee added onto your invoice.  If you supply us with an incorrect address/zip code, we will charge you the extra shipping charges that occur for reshipping the package; you agree to this additional charge to your credit card. UPS now charges $10.00 for address corrections -- please make sure your address and zip code are correct -- Thank you!

Holiday Shipping Note: All orders are processed within 3 days of payment receipt, so please allow extra shipping time in case the individual freight carriers are slowed due to any Holiday overload or Holiday schedules of their own.

Local Orders:
If you live within the Tucson city limits, we will deliver your items to you, if you wish. (There is a small handling charge.) When you check out, please choose Store Pickup.  Our minimum order is $30.00, excluding Sales Tax and Handling Charge, for in-town deliveries.  If this poses a problem for you, please contact us - we will work with you!

Return Policy:
If, within 5 days of receiving your order, you are unhappy with an item you have received, please contact us.  All returns require prior approval by Jasper's Secret Garden. We will issue a "Return Merchandise Authorization Number" (RMA #), which must be legible on the outside of your package. RMA#'s are valid for 7 days from the date of issue. Packages sent to Jasper's Secret Garden without prior approval, the RMA# (clearly marked on the outside of the package) or shipped collect, will be denied and returned at the customers' expense. Please ship the item(s) unopened and unused and we will gladly exchange it, credit your account with us or refund your money. We stress the importance of unopened, unused and in resalable condition. A 25% Restocking Fee will be charged on any non-damaged return.  Please read "Important Notes" below.

It is your responsibility to:
1) Receive prior authorization for the return,
2) Write your RMA# on the outside of your package and,
3) Return the item(s) to Jasper's Secret Garden within 7 days of receipt and at your own risk. We strongly suggest that you insure your return package, as we are not liable for lost packages.

Important Notes:
Original shipping/handling fees are non-refundable.  Also note that you are responsible for the safe return of merchandise and for return shipping costs.
All Special-Orders, Closeouts and Discontinued items are final and non-refundable.
Due to the nature of body products and any of our fragrance oils, we are unable to accept any returns, as we would not be able to guarantee the quality and purity of returned products to our customers.  Please use discretion when ordering body products or fragrance oils for yourself or another person. Thank you for understanding.
 

Damaged Package or Item(s):
On occasion, no matter how carefully an order is packed, it may reach you damaged.  Please contact us within 24 hours and we will provide you with further instructions, so that you can file a claim.  If the package is damaged or open upon receipt, be sure to designate package(s) as damaged or open when signing the receipt.  Please hold the original carton and damaged item(s) for inspection, otherwise no claim, replacement or refund will be honored.   Please keep all boxes and the damaged item(s) until advised otherwise by the freight carrier and Jasper's Secret Garden.
